Betty Tanner

Betty Tanner was an American actress with dwarfism, best known for her role as one of the Munchkin villagers in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, and was onlywhen she appeared in this movie. After her appearance in the Wizard of Oz, she appeared in several Oz related television documentaries, including Were Off to See the Munchkins and I Married a Munchkin , shortly before her death on November 8, 1994 in her native Lynn, Massachusetts, aged 78.
